(Hubei SL) settled in Xintan, Honghu in late 2017 with the support of Honghu's investment promotion department and has become a key driver of Hubei's industrial economy after years of development.

At Hubei SL, the reporter saw a highly automated intelligent plant with tidy standard workshops and orderly production lines. After six months of visits and surveys, Honghu's investment promotion department approved Hubei SL's plan to settle in Xintan late 2017.

To ensure the company settled and started production smoothly, Honghu's investment promotion department provided maximum policy support for the enterprise.

After one year and a half of preparation, Hubei SL started trial production in July 2019. After the company went into trial operation in August 2019, Honghu's investment promotion department provided follow-up services. During the Covid-19 outbreak this year, to ensure the company resumed production smoothly, the department organized staff to pick up the company's senior executives and employees and transport them back to the plant for closed-off management.

Now Hubei SL has two projects in Xintan. With an area of 98 mu and a total investment of 150 million yuan, funded by Shiyan Dongfeng-Samlip Autolighting Co., Ltd. and SL Corporation, the company is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of all series of lighting for medium & high-end commercial and passenger vehicles. With annual tax payments of 15 million yuan, the company's key customers include Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle, Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile.
